CHESLICK, LUZ MARIA,
"REYNA"; April 28 2011; age 67; of Woodhaven.
"Luz" in
Spanish was light, and she was all of our light. In Spanish Reyna means queen
and today we lost one. We lost our Reyna to Leukemia. She passed away after a
hard fought battle surrounded by family and friends at the U. of M. Hospital.
She was a great wife, mother, abuela (grandmother), sister, aunt and friend.
She is survived by her loving husband, Walter, Jr.; dearest mother of Tony
(Kristy), Stephen (Michelle) and Ginny Keegan. Her pride and joy were her nine
grandchildren, Zack, Kylie, Connor, Payton, Ryan, Cole, Rachel, Ian and
Christian. Reyna was an active member at Our Lady of the Woods Catholic Church
where she will be dearly missed by all. Visitation Saturday 5 to 9 p.m., Sunday
12 Noon to 9 p.m., Rosary 7 p.m., John Molnar Funeral Home 23700 West Rd.,
Brownstown. In State Monday 9:30 a.m. until time of Mass 10 a.m. Our Lady of
the Woods Catholic Church 21892 Gudith, Woodhaven.
